These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MaoniMom (the “Site”), operated by MaoniMom (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account, posting in our community, or purchasing a product or membership, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use MaoniMom
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. MaoniMom is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
2. Accounts
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Membership & billing
MaoniMom offers a free membership and a single paid membership tier at $20/month, billed monthly through our payment processor (Stripe) until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account page; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period unless we say otherwise in writing. We may change membership pricing with advance notice; changes apply to your next billing cycle, not retroactively.
4. Community conduct
Our community rooms, including The Quiet Room, are spaces built on trust. When you post, you agree to:
- Share your own real experience, not medical, legal, or financial advice presented as fact.
- Treat other mothers with the same care you’d want in return — no harassment, hate speech, or shaming of parenting choices.
- Never solicit, advertise, or sell products or services inside The Quiet Room, under any circumstance.
- Not share anyone else’s personal information without their consent.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, at our discretion, without prior notice when necessary to protect the community.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give MaoniMom a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and moderate that content on the Site as part of operating the community. You can request deletion of your own posts at any time through your account or by contacting us.
6. Purchases & affiliate links
Care boxes, books, and gift subscriptions sold directly by MaoniMom are fulfilled by us; product pages describe what’s included. Some product recommendations link to third-party retailers (such as Amazon) through affiliate links — we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for the products, shipping, or customer service of third-party retailers.
7. Not medical advice
Please read our Health & Community Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms. MaoniMom shares personal experiences for informational purposes only, never as medical advice.
8. Limitation of liability
MaoniMom is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on content shared by other members.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated date at the top of this page; continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
